🔒 Core principle: Raw video footage from SafeWatch+ is never transmitted to any external server. All camera processing happens on your own hardware. Only anonymised data is used for cloud-based reporting.
Who we are
ShepherdLab is a division of NHB Industrial Pte Ltd (UEN 202542682D), 5038 Ang Mo Kio Industrial Park 2, #01-409, Singapore 569541. We build AI care monitoring technology for families and healthcare facilities.
What data we collect
Depending on the product you use, we may collect:
- Account information — name, email address, phone number
- Payment information — processed securely by our payment provider; we do not store card details
- Device information — hardware identifiers for licence validation
- Anonymised usage data — movement summaries, alert logs, health trend scores (no images, no video, no biometrics)
- Support correspondence — emails and messages you send us
What data stays on your device
For SafeWatch+ users, the following data is processed and stored exclusively on the SafeWatch+ hardware in your home or facility and is never transmitted to us or any third party:
- Raw camera footage and video recordings
- Face recognition embeddings and enrolled face data
- Real-time skeleton tracking data
- Local fall detection processing
How we use your data
- To provide and maintain our services
- To process payments and manage subscriptions
- To generate health reports and AI fall risk scores (anonymised data only)
- To send safety alerts via Telegram
- To provide customer support
- To improve our AI models using aggregated, anonymised data
Who we share data with
We do not sell your data. We may share anonymised, aggregated data with:
- Cloud infrastructure providers for hosting and computing
- Payment processors for subscription billing
- No other third parties without your explicit consent
Data retention
Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 12 months. Anonymised analytics data may be retained longer for AI model improvement. You may request deletion of your account data at any time.

Security
